San Francisco State University, located right
in the heart of city, needed a facility that would deliver the
community with certified childcare at a competitive price. As part
of the project development strategy, the facility had to be
financially self-sufficient as it would not receive university
funding but yet provide cost conscious pricing for the university
staff and students.
The tight budget and even tighter 5 month
design to completion date made a value engineered modular solution
the only practical choice for the University and the architect,
Asian Neighborhood Design.
